Hello hello! 7am fishin' trip got pushed out, got towards panacea and didn't have reg with me, got stopped and ticketed. Ah boo. Off now!

That's a real bummer isn't it?! Glad you got out anyway. I've noticed the enforcement has been tough since the budget shortfalls.galantnole wrote:didn't have reg with me, got stopped and ticketed.

All I can say is you better have EVERYTHING in order. Got checked at the lighthouse last Sunday evening at 7:00pm. Got 1 citation for none of my 47 lifevests on board being sufficient for my 5 year old and a ticket for an expired driver's license. Never knew FWC could write a traffic citation, but found out the hard way. We exchanged a few "pleaseantries and I still ended up with the fines. $90 for the vest and ??? on the licenselordsfisher wrote:That's a real bummer isn't it?! Glad you got out anyway. ALWAYS remember: FWC are "Law Enforcement Officers" (just like it says on the front of the trucks). They can pull you for speeding if they want. I had a FWC GW tell me once that he was driving along and a girl flew my him speeding and gave him "the bird." She informed the GW that she thought he wasnt a "real cop." I think she regretted her decision and remark.
