Getting stoked for my annual vacation to Cape San Blas the second week of April, anybody been fishing the bay lately? Pompano running in the surf yet?

Bay fishing is hit or miss right now. Trout are still stacked up in the canal. Spanish are thick from the dixie bell curve all the way back to Mexico Beach. I think there has been one pompano caught so far, but they are usually 2-3 weeks behind the spanish. By the time you get down everything should be on fire. Good luck.
