They have a chain going across the ramp .... " No Traspassing " I heard it ( the ramp ) was for property owners only.

The big boats are rubbing bottom so he closed it down to private use to fore go legal issues.

wow ! wish they would have gone with the ole " use at your own risk " My 17 footer never had any probs even at low tide

As a landowner, I can say thanks to ambulance chasers and greedy folks, you have to protect yourself nowadays. The old "at your own risk" would not even phase a greedy attorney and his client.
Hell, I have to pay out the nose for a liability policy every year just to protect myself from someone trespassing on my posted property and hurting themselves in a "rotten stump hole" I was too "negligent" to fill.
