I need a small one man 6" power auger. Anyone got one laying around you want to get rid of?

Nope, but I can tell you, there ain't no such thing as a one man auger, unless you enjoy dislocated shoulders everytime you hit a good root.

If you have a lot of holes to dig (i.e. fence posts), you ought to look in to renting a tractor with an auger attachment

Keep looking, I had been looking for one for a while and had just been letting everyone know I was looking for one. My dad just happen be giving an estimate on a tree job and saw one sitting in the corner of someones garage. He asked about it and the gentleman had inherited it and didn't have any use for it. I ended up getting it for $150 and one man can handle this one just fine. They sell these at Home Depot for $245 not counting the 8" auger
