I ordered two super spooks in bone last week from Cabelas (gift card from Christmas). My order just arrived. When I opened the package instead of the normal bone colored spooks, I see two bone with silver side super spooks.

I did not even know they made this color. My first thought is to send them both back, but after looking at them I am thinking of giving them a try. They are completely bone colored on the top and bottom, but have shiny silver sides.

Anyone ever used these? What do you guys think?

I'd throw em till them silver sides wore off !!

Nah, bone and chrome sux. Send them to me and I'll dispose of them properly.

Guess I will keep them based on your responses. Is there any color spook you guys dislike?

Do you guys swap out the middle hook for a slightly smaller hook or do you guys remove the middle hooks? I always hate it when the middle hook gets tangled with the back hook. I usually just swap out the middle hook but have seen some guys just remove them.

That is the only color my buddy "Chewy" will throw. Definitely worth giving it a shot. I have seen him pull multiple 5+lb trout with it. You may have found your new favorite. I on the other hand throw the Blue Line or Speck Trout color, but that's just me.

There are no bad SPOOK colors.

What are these spooks you speak of?

You can get the true bone color only in the original zara spook, got one from kevins last week...Super spooks have the silver sides.

That is my favorite plug.A rep told a friend of mine that they were discontinuing the bone.
