Skip and I fished Lanark today. We got there at 7 a.m. and it was rough - I mean really rough. We only fished for two hours or so before we started taking waves over the bow, but the bite was on...In the short time we were fishing, Skip caught his PB trout at 25" on the SeaSpot and had one even bigger straighten his hooks at the boat. I caught a 21" trout and a 20" redfish on top and had some NICE ones blow up on the plug. Hopefully they'll stay there for a couple of weeks. Nice day on the water, but damn the wind. The older I get, the more I enjoy the trips with the old man...and am thankful that he introduced me to the sport.
Skip's big trout
CC's trout
CC's red

Got there about 7 also to see the rolls coming in. Decided at 12:00 to call it quits. My seven YO partner (Landon Toole)landed a very nice 26" Red to start it off early. Had several blow ups on top water and something fought real hard for about 30 seconds and shook loose. Good Spanish bite/breakoffs.

Glad you and Skip got out there. Wish the conditions had been a little better for the old man.

Nice report. It was rough out there. NOAA full of BS once again. I put some nice reds in the boat at TP and DI.
What is a PB trout on the Seaspot? I need to catch up on the lingo.

It was AWESOME. My buddy's family has had tickets for 50 years and we were able to snag a couple of the tix for Saturday. We sat on #1 green and watched most of the groups come through and then moved over to #15. Everything is first class at Augusta National - I saw one piece of trash on the ground all day. Pretty impressive considering upwards of 50,000 people were on the course that day. Hopefully, I'll get to go back next year (fingers crossed).

Nice job Casey. Thanks for the clarification. I like what you did to that cooler. Have any other pics of that setup? I have been thinking of doing something similar with a Yetti I have.

Great trout Skip, we were there friday and it was calm but the fog was so thick you couldn't see 10 ft in front of the boat until 11:30.It was weird.
