I've been trying to get Madeline (my 4yr old) out on the water for her first real fishing trip. Seems like something always comes up or the weather acts up. I decided we would hit Lake Talquin since the wind was kickin' again on the coast. We thought we could at least hunt down some bream...wrong. Tried real hard to get her first fish; but, it just didn't happen. She still enjoyed it.

I'm sure she had a great time.

Boat sleeping is the best sleeping ever.

Take her on down to the saltwater where she can catch some pinfish. Even if you have to stay in a river or creek due to the wind, the pinfish will keep her busy. My 6 yr old son Andrew, kept us in bait all day Sunday out of the Econfina.

Nice E. You should try Chalks trick he used with his boy. Fill the livewell with pinfish and shrimp and let her play "Aquarium" when the bite is slow.

I have to come to Eerman's defense on this one, Birddog. Eerman doesn't do well with coloring books. He usually plays dress up with the Bratz.
