Lake Hall - May 3
Fished from 8:00 Am to about 3:00 PM. I only brought the fly rods so with the 10-15 mph wind I had quite a challenging day (invented a few possible new and anatomically impossible 4 letter word combos
). I ended up with 13 bream and a couple of small specks. Some of the bream were nice, 10" or larger and were a blast on the 4 wt. rod. If those things ever got to be 10lbs you'd never land them.

Sounds like fun anyway. What kind of boat you using there?

I was out out on a Lowes 12' v-hull - its a floating wind vane. I hope to replace it with a gheenoe or river hawk.
I should have said that 2 of the bream were about 10", not "some", and a couple were real dinks but the bigger bream came at the end of the day near the boat ramp, so I should have started there and stayed there. Those big bream really took me around the boat on the light fly rod.
