Cape San Blas Lures?

We will be staying on Cape San Blas at the end of May and I will be bringing the kayaks along for the pay fishing. We will both have spinning rods in hand and fly rods as well. We are confused on what sort of lures we need to buy for the bay when fishing spinning rods.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Go to BlueWater Outriggers in St. Joe and they will set you up with the lures of the week. No junk. Only what their clients have been reporting catches on for the week.

Topwater like Super Spook or Skitterwalk, and spoons like Captain Mikes work great, Live shrimp under a popping cork or Gukp Shrimp at 15" below cork work great too.

I agree with the above two post. Topwater early and slingin' corks later in the day. The folks @ Bluewater Outriggers in Port St. Joe can help you out too. have a great week and share some fish stories with us.

Guys what are the laws about bringing in a kayak from another state. What do we need to have on board with us at all times?

No night fishing, just strictly daytime fishing!

Thanks,
Cole
