The Adventures of Dad and Jaden: Attack of the Sea Robin

I took Jaden out on the skiff for a couple hours this morning. Mom decided the best mother's day gift we could give her was for us to leave and let her sleep in 
. Being completely supportive of her rationale, I grabbed the boy and high tailed it over to Ochlockonee Bay. The redfish bite was on fire for about an hour with Jaden catching several.
He hooked a sea robin, and we laughed and made fun of it for a little while. Then while removing it from the jighead, I figured I could manhandle it like a redfish, and stick my thumb in it's mouth. Bad Idea. It bit down and let me feel the power. After using some selective language normally edited for content in front of the boy, I was able to shake it off my hand and back in the water. Still a great couple hours of fishing.
