Myself and my son meet up with wevans and FS member Amada8 for an offshore adventure on the big ol boat, a 33 ft Intrepid, very nice rig. Headed out the channel about 7:30 enroute to the Yamaha as our first stop. The bite was fair, however we a had a blast with the company, and caught a few fishes. :D Ran into AJ's and Bonita at the Yamaha dam them things will wipe you out if you catch many of them. :o

wevans had a similar catch, but did not get the pic snapped in time.

Now I know that the Yamaha is a public reef number, however we were a good 100 yards of the reef, but "BITE ME" in this Robalo thought he needed to get fairly close.

And this was not the only incident for the day. As we were coming back in, we made one more stop. Well here comes another boat, headed right at us. Makes a bee-line for the starboard side, slows down, does his thing, and continues on. LOW LIFE.

Catch for the day. Was a lillte slow, but we got a few.

Nice report Don. Did you get to use that new rod? That guy isn't close at all. You couldn't read the hull number. I had a guy one time out of Keaton get his engine hung up in my anchor rope. When he was finally lose he pulled along side of us and anchored. I could almost touch his boat with a 6' rod. :hammer:
