Fishing the St Joe Tourney with CT, My new F115 went from wide open throttle to dead, almost like a vapor lock. Restarted the motor and she ran fine the rest of the day. On day twp of the tourney, about midday, it did the same thing. ETHANOL?????? The motor has about 20 hours on it. Any help, tips, advice, where to locate the fuel filter, would be greatly appreciated.

Robbie's used to do that...pop open the cowl and see if you have any water in the little round fuel filter...Dumping that filter solved his problems.

Only thing I could add is be sure your fuel tank vent has no restrictions. On WOT, the tank can get a vacuum if the vent is restricted, then after the motor quits, has time to get air, and the motor will restart just fine....

Vapor lock will normally colapse the primer ball on the fuel line. Did you happen to notice if it was colapsed?

If you have a water problem it will continue to happen...if dumping it fixes the problem temporarily...you could have a water intrusion issue.
