Aucilla 5/25 One Of Those Days

Headed down about 5:00 and thought it might be a good day, WRONG! not that I needed my GPS to get out with, but it would have been nice if it worked- NOTTA. Not that I needed to listen to Sirius, but it would have been nice if it worked- Notta. After hitting a big rock idling into a creek, had one hook up on a red after about 125 casts that broke off on the motor. Left the creek and headed out to get stopped by the MAN. As he gets beside my boat, my 2 YO son says out loud- " We are going to Jail" I think that is what saved us from any futher harrassment. The Game Warden had tears in his eyes he was laughing so hard. Left him and 100 yds later have 2 crab trap lines wrapped around the prop. After detangling that mess, went and banged the bottom of the boat on two rocks as we were drifting .A long story short, one 18" Trout and not a luckysob today.

Correction, LuckySOB, having a good laugh with THE MAN and not being harrassed does make you a LuckySOB... ask Dolphinatic if you don't believe me
And sounds like the boat was still running when you put it on the trailer... another plus
Seriously, sorry to hear about the troubles but glad none were show stoppers

You really are a lucky SOB, didn't go to jail and nothing broke. Plus caught a keeper. Those creeks over that way are full of rocks, glad yall made it back OK.
