I am going to Carrabelle to do some flats fishing tomorrow morning with the wife and son, this will be our first time going out of Carrabelle. I have a 18' Carolina skiff - looking for trout and red fish. I am looking for a few ideas on where to launch, and general area on where to fish. :smt102

The Lanark area is doing well for trout and redfish. You may want to put in at Lanark and go east. The new condos that you pass on 98 coming into the Lanark area has had some nice trout on it the last few days. Lot of redfish in this area around the docks too.
Good luck

Thanks, we will try that area. I will have to let you know how it goes. My wife is tired of fishing for 4-5 hours and catching only 2 minutes. :smt023

Let her catch some pin fish on small hooks for bait. That will keep her busy. The gator trout are hitting pin fish under a Cajun thunder float about 20" long leader.
