Finally Offshore

Well I finally get to post a report, my boat after extensive repair is back in the water after a year of repair,bad weather,hunting season,more bad weather, and too much work. My lovely wife and I put in at the light at 7 am, and ran out on 1-2 footers to 28 feet, caught some grunts for tonights grits and grunts feast. Then we got serious and caught a couple nice gags. Biggest 27",of course the big one got away several times, as I repeatedly set hook and was broke off within seconds(3 times). Oh yeah, Wevans she got the big one.
