Appalachicola May 29-31 2009

Woke up saturday morning and got iced up and baited up and headed for a number Billy my dads friend found. It was a beutifal spot dropped down and caught 3 keeper grouper up to 28 in and Billy caught a 31 in aj keeper! 
Unfortunatly that was all the keepers for today. Caught a few more short ajs on the flatline but that was it.
Sunday woke up and got a 25 pound slab of boston mackeral for bait and we had plenty for the day. stopped to buy pinfish in the cut and headed out about 26 miles and dropped on a wreck. The bite was okay on dead caught 2 keepers then dropped live down and BAMMM the bites on we caught our limit in about 30 minutes. Then as my dad was putting the last keeper in the box the grouper started shaking and my dad lost his grip.
Oh well we will just go to another number and i dropped a live down and caught a 20 lber to round out the limit. 
Wonderful weekend caught i caught a 15lb snapper saturday but it had to go back

Grouper hit everything we through at them dead or live.
Snapper liked dead but the big one hit a pinfish but they all went back unharmed.
Ajs liked live only pinfish or big croaker
Saw one cobia but would not eat
