Will need to replace the carpet ?? material on my trailer skids and side bumpers one of these days.

What kind of material is best for that? Is there a special material..... if so where would I pick it up at? Thanks.

Go to lowes or home depot and get some of the grey indoor/outdoor carpet. 10 bucks should buy all you'll ever need.

That's what I did and has worked fine for over a year, use stainless steel
staples.

Third Tom's motion. Except black is all our Lowes has. It has worked great for me. Make sure it has a rubber backing.

Get Monel Stainless Staples. They are not cheap but worth it. Close to $30 for a box.
