Took the wife to do a little evening fishing around the lighthouse yesterday. We left Shields around 6:15, ran down the river and headed east for several miles. We started fishing around 6:30 in about a foot of water. There was a stiff breeze but it was calm enough to look for tails. Site fishing only we managed several slot reds, all on topwater, and then Jen landed the biggest fish, a very healthy 30" red also caught on topwater :-D . We headed home a little after eight. It was a short trip but a lot of fun!
