After a tough tourney I couldn't wait to find some fish. Thursday afternoon I met up with TinCan and learned more about bass fishing in one day then I could have imagined. No pics to share, but when you think you have a "nicer fish" and turns out be two bass on the same lure you're in good company. Thanks TC!
Today I woke up at 5:30 to meet some folks at Savana's and participate in the HHA event. Breakfeast was fabulous, but unfortunately my anger was ill and counldn't attend. Katie and I took the opportunity (the fort at 8:000) to explore the Wakulla River. Saw some cool sights:

Had a round at the Riverside Cave and headed out to the bird rack for swimming. Ran into a hog on the way.

Had nice conversation with Michelle and Eddie then had to run back to Sield's to meet a buddy comming in from Pennsicola. katie wen home in his truck and we headed west. Only fished for 4 hours; tested out the boat in 2-3'. I can't imagine I'll ever intentionally try to fish in more wind, but I was thouroughly impresed with the new obat's performance. That being said, we established a nice pattern. We found mid slot reds and two 24" fish made the ride home. We switched tactics and I started throwing topwaters for trout. Founds this 27" hog a Skitterwalk; can't afford a Boga--she was heavy.

Started back to Tally and grabbed a great dinner at Angelo's. It was my first experience since they refurbished afer the hurricane and I wasn't disappointed.
Katie has to defend her dissertation modnday, so chaz, Boo and I will be headed on round two.
