2008 Carolina Skiff J16 . This is a super nice boat that good for the flats or rivers and great for scalloping and fishing with lots of room. It has a 40 hp 1994johnson outboard on it. MOTOR WILL CRANK UP ON 2ND PULL EVERY TIME. It has the large front casting deck with alot of storage under it. it also has two live wells. one is hooked up the other is used for storage. It also come with minn kota 40 lb thrust trolling motor, 6 gallon gas tank with hose, blige pump, navgation lights. Trailor is in good shape , just put two new tires on it, pulls real smooth, 2 rods holders on both inside walls of boat, a cb weather radio, and a garmin fishfinder 120. I just put a new stanless steel prop (150.00)on the motor. boat is in excellent shape overall a must see. I have a 2007 model J16 with a 40 HP Tohatsu fuel injected two stroke, both purchased new. My other little inshore skiff sunk at my dock. I reconfigured the old trailer for the new J16. My trailer is the same as yours, a B&S Sportsmen, which I purchased in Panacea from the old Panacea Trailer. Even though the trailer is galvinized, they do an incredible job galvinizing those.... much better than Majic Tilt, etc. That trailer will last. I can attest to the fact that a J16 with a 40HP is one sweet ride.... it's all you need for inshore. You can skim over a chop, and go in really skinny water. My J16 is also tiller... no center console... gives tons of room for coolers, etc. You'll sell it without problem.

i thought it would be easy to sell too. but i have only had 1 person even call or look at it. will let it go for $3800.00. i think that is a good price for all that it comes with.

List it on craigs list or FS...it'll sell....have some patience

THINGS ARE TOUGH OUT THERE, I HAVE HAD A GREAT LITTLE BOAT FOR SALE NOW FOR OVER A YEAR, APPRAISED AT $6,800 AND I HAVE CUT THE PRICE DOWN TO WHAT I HAVE IN IT, WHICH IS $3,500 AND HAVE NOT HAD A BITE THIS YEAR. I WILL LET IT ROT BEFORE I CUT IT ANY LOWER.

agreed. I listed my old boat on Craigslist about a month ago and it sold within 48 hours. Amazing the shear number of emails I received.
