sunglasses what do you prefer?

Post by blue22 »

I am in need of a new pair of sunglasses. Do you guys prefer the green tint or the blue tint? Which helps you get a better view into the water if any. I am looking polorized. I had a good pair of Costas but they had a dark lens and made things look darker looking into the water, whats your take fellas?

Costas for sure. I had a pair for a LONG time and the stem broke off. Sent them back for repair and for $25 repair fee, I received a new pair back. Great customer service!
Its a wonderful day in the neighborhood!

I prefer Wal Mart or Bass Pro $15.00 glasses I usually can keep them a year or so.
The nice glasses I would have to super glue to my head I lose them almost immediatly.
Yesterday it was taboo today it is normal what the heck will they be doing tomorrow?

I've had a pair of Costa Brines with the green lens for about a year and I wouldn't have anything else to wear inshore fishing. All my Maui Jims do now is collect dust!

COSTA DEL MAR
Not only have they made several low light lenses but there polarization is second to none when on the water. Some people cant handle the brighter lenses but if you go with the silver mirror 580 the clarity will make up for the slightly darker look. One thing stands true, once you wear them on the water $15.00 looks like a rip for any other glasses.

Costa Del Mar in the Swordfish frame w/ green mirror are hard to beat.
Go see South GA Outdoors, they have a great selection and their prices are dang hard to beat.

I've had the same pair of prescription Costa Del Mars for almost ten years now, still work like new. I've got the gray lenses and I love them, except when it's overcast. If I were going with a mirror tint, I'd get green. It's a little more well-rounded. I don't know that there is one perfect color for all situations, but Costas are definitely the way to go.
