I was sitting around sipping a cold beer the other night watching the home run derby and flipped the channel over during a commercial break and happened to run across something that may be the craziest product ever. Chia Obama.

Shortly after watching the commercial I realized I have a buddy at work that could really use a nice plant in his office, and since he is gone on vacation this week a Chia Obama fully sprouting by the time he returns could be just what he needs! So $22.88 later and a ring at the doorbell from the UPS guy, Chia Obama has arrived!!! I will update throughout the day on the planting progress and growth potential!! Hail to the Ch-Ch-Ch-Chief!!

Actually, what's the funniest is the whole concept of Obama. I can't wait for the day when I see the bumper sticker "WE F@%#ED UP....YES WE DID!!!" Everytime I hear him speak, I feel like the dad in Clifford....

Day 2 had nothing to update.

But between the time I left work yesterday and coming in this morning there has been some major growth. It seems that the ziplock bag we used as a mini greenhouse did the trick.




You can't really tell from the pictures but there are some sprouts making their way out. The weekend should see good success!!

Very funny!!!! bad thing is while obama's eating his kobe beef and flying around in airforce one to do a bit with Leno a few more dimes are going in his pocket everytime one of these is sold.
