I had an early morning this week to slip out with dad and chase Sheephead.
Still cant say where but I told you how in the last post...
Dad, my cousin and I headed out early and had a great morning- home by Noon!

Here is the haul after my cousin took his fish:

I caught the red- just over 26" , and the big Sheepie


The Red made longer runs and fought hard- but that big Sheephead would turn sideways and fight me with everything it had.
Awesome fish!
Great day on the water that could not have been better. We all caught nice fish & got off the water before it got too hot.
Cant beat a day on the water with Dad!

That is one sweet little fishing hole your dad's got! Tell him not to be surprised if he heads out one days and looks back to see 2-3 boats following nonchalantly!

HEY BARRY, MAN THAT WAS A BOX FULL OF FISH. I WOULD LOVE JUST TO CATCH JUST ONE SHEEPSHEAD, IN THE 82 YEARS I HAVE BEEN FISHIN I HAVE NEVER CAUGHT A SHEEPSHEAD. MY BROTHER WOULD JUST CATCH ONE AFTER THE OTHER AND I NEVER GOT THE FIRST BITE. KEEP GOING WITH YOUR DAD AS MUCH AS YOU CAN US OLD FELLAS DONT LAST FOREVER.
