Sometimes quantity is more important than quality. Fishing with my daughter today at Lake Hall when it's 90+ degrees outside is a prime example of that. She landed probably 20 little bream in 30 minutes including two nice golden shiners before she decided it was time to go swim. I'd like to go back on a cooler morning and strive for some slabs to put on ice, but had a great time watching my 8 y/o catch em up! Will definitely snap pics on the next trip.

I might have considered hook'n one of them golden shiners on a line and sent it off in search of a bucket mouth while the young lady was swim'n

Fishing with a kid is always fun..., they just want to see the bobber go under.
I was with my friends son last week when he caught his first bass on a jerk bait in the pond behind their house.
He was so excited!!!

WTG, keep taking the daughter out with you, you both will always remember those times together.
