Whitebc, for health and financial reasons (if she's seeking to sell any pups) might want to mention what color your gf's Dane is.

Never bred any but have owned 3. My family's first was a non-standard (largely white with black and brown harlequin markings and he had health problems all of his all-too-short 5 years. Loved him to death but he was a bit like the "6 million dollar man", not from bionic strength, but money wise.

Way more complicated than I want to get into, but there are guidelines for mating by color...

Mr.Foots is quite healthy and quite capable with a good bloodline. I only have to show him 2 or 3 times what to do,then he takes over. He is very smart and quick to learn.
He also has really big feet. That is why we named him Mr.Foots.
