Well, it seems nobody wanted to fish in a rain shower. Maybe next time.
I think it was called off because Casey forgot to bring his boat and his partner.

If you need a real fishing partner, not one scared of a little water, give me a call. I have forgotten lots of things before going fishing, but my boat was never one of them. hehehehehehe

It wasn't the water that had folks a little worried. And I couldn't see much past the hood until way after Lanark.

Team Stinson and several other NFGFC teams headed for Savannah's breakfast buffet. We had a good time sippin coffee and telling stories.

I think Casey made the right call. My kids were both in full support....

Went out of the Warrior and had a blast!!! We only got sprinkled on non stop fun on a top water trout reds 28" blue we thought was an amber jack for a min it was huge. Then 4' gar next had somthing big and fast smoken the it reel come undone and picked up a jack before I could get it in to cast again. I had a wind knot and was speed reeling the plug in and a horde of fish were submarining behind it and a red won the race just dang fun left just before the real rain hit @ 1:00

WAM, you must have slept through English class when they explained what a run-on sentence is. Just kidding, glad you caught a few and beat the rain.

If anyone is interested. It's still raining in Carrabelle. Varmints are pairing up.

Sure I do. Just depends on how bad you want to fish and not sit at home watching the rain come down  We got soaked, but still had fun......

Butch and I would have stayed and fished with you, but,we had to get back and paint the boat. The wind from Friday blew it all off.

I fished last weekend... 17.5 feet of water and picked up my limit of grouper!

It was dangerous on Friday, wet on Saturday, but we found the fish anyway!!! Never left the bay either!
