Guys, I need to repack the bearings on my trailer and the boat/trailer is in Keaton beach. Can anyone share with me your experience, both good and bad, in dealing with the marian in Perry FL. Appreciate your help.

NOTHING TO IT IF YOU HAVE BUDDY BEARINGS. JUSST LOCK THE GREASE GUN ONTO THE FITTINGS AND PUMP THE GREASE GUN HANDLE UNTIL YOU SEE THE LITTLE RED BALL IN THE BUDDY BEARING. I ALWAYS JACK UP THE AXLE SO I CAN TURN THE WHEEL AND LISTEN FOR ANY GRINDING NOISE, IF YOU DO THIS AND HEAR A GRINDING NOISE PULL THE HUB AND REPLACE THE BEARINGS, REFILL THE BUDDY BEARING AFTER REPLACING THE HUB AND FILL WITH GREASE GUN. BE SURE YOU DO NOT TIGHTEN THE HUB TOO TIGHT, IF YOU DO IT WILL BURN OUT IN A SHORT DISSTANCE. YOU SHOULD HAVE ABOUT 1/32 INCH PLAY IN THE HUB WHEN YOU PUSH IN AND OUT ON IT.

Thanks Don.

PA, I was gonna pull the boat back last saturday but heard some grinding noise on one of the tire on the trailer, and further inspection found out that the said tire was wobbling more than usual. I trailer long distance so the last thing I want to do is to have some amateur (ME) working on it.
