9-27 Evening

Got out Sunday afternoon about five o'clock. Launched at the lighthouse and caught bait then headed on over to my favorite bar. About six thirty the reds decided to show up, along with the gars. From six thirty till eight thirty we caught five keeper reds with the biggest at 25. Also caught about a half dozen large gars, only a couple cat fish, and a nice jack. No trout though...? Great way to spend a couple hours on the water and the weather couldn't have been any better. Got the reds on pinfish and mullet. The mullet were everywhere around the oyster bars in the mouth of the St. Marks. It was kind of nuts, after the sun went down you could constantly hear splashing and mullet being chased.
