Keaton Beach Rescue

Post by Sir reel »

While we were out slay'n the saltwater cats on Saturday we were monitering a rescue of a 21' Bayliner with 4 on board that was 13 miles off Keaton. Don't know if the power was outboard or inboard. They were dead in the water and taking on water. We heard enought to know they were taken off and onto the Miss Keaton Beach. Does anyone know any specific's as to what kind of problem they had ?? The bilge pump was reportedly working but not able to keep up. :o Coast Guard droped another pump from a copter.

Can't give you any details other than I was listening also from Keaton Beach Marina. The marina was trying to reassure them that help was on the way, even after Sea Tow got along side of them, they were still calling for the coast guard to hurry.
