Dear Saltwater Sportsman

Post by Juan »

Since you're a sponsor of the Tips and Tricks .... I have a question:

WHO HAS MY SHIMANO BANAR BOAT BAG ???

You published a tip I submitted in the Sportsman's Workbench section of the October Saltwater Sportsman magazine... Since I didn't receive the boat bag I won, I can only guess someone at your office in Winter Park is getting good use of it. :-D

btw: I still enjoy the magazine even without a boat bag to store my past editions in. :hammer:

Juan,
The October issue isn't even off the news-stands yet, hold your horses. :D

I have sent an email to my former colleague at the magazine to check on the status of your bag. There was a delay in the past in getting the stuff from Shimano. But I'll find out , so be like a good fisherman and have some patience, please.

DEAR JUAN
Yes you did win a boat bag for your tip, but after review of said tip we have found that it does not work.
We had ordered a boat bag for you and since we will not be sending it out to you I will keep it and use it for myself.
Thank you for your subscription to our magazine.

SK, although it's true I haven't received the bag and I certainly appreciate your help,, my post was mostly intended as humor. Just the fact that they published a tip I submitted was prize enough and I still consider Saltwater Sportsman the best fishing magazine out there (and I've had many different subscriptions).

If it doesn't work, you must be doing it wrong..Turn it over and try again. Keep turning it over until you get it right. There were many hours (at least 1) of extensive testing and a lot of money ($6.00) spent on this project prior to it's submission as a "tip" to your magazine. I hope you enjoy and get a lot of use out of my boat bag, I know I would have. :smt010

LMAO,

Juan
