In the spirit of reporting the good with the bad, here is the bad.

Temp : wind speed : blown shots at redfish

10/16: Meet up with a few guys from another forum I am on along with Chalk and a local from Port Saint Joe to spin up some flys Friday night. The plan was to fish PSJ the next day. Had a pretty good turn out for the Flies N Lies get together Friday night but folks dropped like flies when it came to fishing Sat. (you know who you are). Any way PSJ was blown out big time. We made it out the the end of the channel of Presnels and turned right back around to put the boat back on the trailer to look for calmer water elsewhere. Althought the wind was still blowing a gale we managed to stay on the lee side of some shoreline and found good clear water and a few fish up in the skinny skinny. We never really had a chance with the wind blowing like it was, but we had a good time and got to cast to a tailer of two. The plus side is that I got to practice casting in 25+mph winds. Here are a few shots from the day. No fish pix but they are of us at least casting to some.

Nice report Mills. It may have been rough, but those pictures sure are nice to a guy stuck in Boston with a bunch of chowda'-heads :D

Lets see some of the flies you all tied.

Canon G10 with a polarized filter. ISO 80. Not sure of the aperture(probably 5.6-5.8) or shutter speed. I would have to look back at the file to see. No photoshop, it's too expensive.

Good effort.
How far can you cast in a 25mph wind?

No need for photoshop when you can download paint.net for free and nice pics but it wasn't that cold.

Oh it was 45 jeffro

kind of a faux HDR. you can download for free but it will watermark your pix unless you pay. Not sure how it works with .jpg but with RAW format it does OK.

I was commenting on the clothes you were wearing. You dressed for much colder weather. Jokes ain't funny if you have to explain them to folks.
