Transmission Repair

Sis-in-law's transmission appears to be on it's last leg (guess tooth more accurate but saying she's down to her last tooth sounds just a bit too Kentucky like :wink:). You've all been VERY helpful on recommending high quality/competitive cost businesses before, and pretty sure more than a few on the board will have had tranny work done before.

So who's the best? Any & all recommendations GREATLY appreciated!

I have used Florida Transmission for years and always had good results. Never price checked but also never had a problem.

Doug Walker is a good friend of mine. He is an outstanding person and does great work. He is located on Monroe.

I'll second Doug. He worked on the ambulances in Jefferson County numerous times while I worked for the service. No problems there. My $.02.

What ever you do DON'T USE AAMCO TRANSMISSION.I've had the one in my Dodge done four times and it's still not right and leaks nows to. :thumbdown:
