Took the day off to fish with Frank Bradfield and Greg(pinfishking). The original plan was to go offshore and dive but we changed gears to go inshore after seeing the forecast.
Got on the water by 8:30 and it didn't take long to start catching fish. The bite was pretty steady on CT/gulps and we had 10 keepers in the box by 11. When the tide got slack so did the bite and didn't start up again until after 2. When it did it was fast and furious. Bigger fish came on topwater and live pinfish. We also caught about 10 reds keeping 3. Greg caught the last 2 fish of the day on live pins. A fat 23 and a large and in charge 26" gator trout.
Frank's 24" red.

My 21" trout

Greg's monster 26"

The carnage...

Ended the day at 3:00 with a limit of trout and reds. Threw back at least 40 keeper fish at 15-16", and at least that many shorts. All fish came from 3 feet or less in stained water. Clear water did not produce nearly the bites stained did.
Would have liked to have been chasing grouper but I can't complain.
