Any new intell on whether this ramp is open yet? Last I heard the county and property owner were working out liability details to open it to the public.

Still closed as of last Friday.

This is from the Sept 22 meeting minutes. Looks like they are now looking to put in a public ramp somewhere else maybe?

Discussion of Boat Ramp – Shell Point
Commissioner Stewart requested Board support to direct staff to go after funding for
property available in Shell Point/Oyster Bay for a boat ramp and parking area.
Commissioner Stewart directed staff to assist in gathering additional information of the
area to include how many boat trailers the parking area would permit. In addition,
Commissioner Stewart will bring this item back to the Board after working with staff
on the additional information.

Did the deal with Heaton fall through? It's gona be hard to find a new place for a ramp and parking. Just sayin.
