Seems like its been blowing 45mph all week... Probably won't even notice another 10 - 12 mph. :(

I am thinking Ida will fizzle but recall Hurricane Kate in 1985, a November storm with a similar west to east swerve in northern Gulf. Back then there was no power for a week, people were desperate for ice, and chainsaws were gold.

I'm in Destin for the week.....A good stiff wind and on and off rain. Overall, not that bad............so far.
