AS A MARK OF RESPECT FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE VIOLENCE AT FORT HOOD'S SOLDIER FAMILY READINESS CENTER ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2009, THE SECRETARY OF DEFENSE DIRECTS THAT U.S. FORCES THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD OBSERVE A MOMENT OF SILENCE BEGINNING AT 1334

I left for Iraq from Ft. Hood, so this really hit hard for me. Prayers to all affected by this tragic event.

p.s. I've lowered my flag to half mast until after vets day, I'd hope others do the same as a show of respect to our fallen. salute2
