OK I am starting to wonder if someone has it in for me or what. The first tournament I entered I lost my brand new 125 qt. cooler and a new live well setup. Weather was bad and no place to put fish.

For one reason or another I have been unable to attend any tournaments since then. The the last one for the year I made sure I cleardd everything out of the way. The boat has engine troubles so I take it to Porters so again I should have no issues, right? Wrong!!!

I get to Jerry's on time and meet up with everyone, register and off tot he ramp. Got to the ramp with everything that I left the house with. Starting to think all is good. Launch the boat and start the engine. Running great!. I head out the Aucilla and get just past the island and wham, dropped one cylinder! Running about 1/4 throttle the rest of the way. With the conditions and the bad motor I was not comfortable going much farther so I fished in the river till about 9 and called it a day. Several good strikes and one 18" trout for dinner. All in all not the best year for tournaments for me.

Either I am getting all the bad luck out of the way early or someone is telling me to stay home!!!

Hate to hear about the boat troubles again. With all the bad luck, I would play the lotto. You never know when a lucky streak will start.

Bought my ticket yesterday. I thought the same thing.

Tell me about it....every time I fix something on my boat or try to make it better - something gets worse. Hatch drain had a small leak today....tried to fix it...we are now replacing every part of the hatch drain

Sometimes it feels like a boat is the biggest pain because things always tear up at once. The Key West I sold kneeknocker never had any problems. I should have kept that boat. I had a bass boat one time and I literally had to pack a tool box everytime I went. That is no fun!

My dad used to tell me that all of the time but I never listened. My wallet seems to stay much lighter these days because I own 2

Dropped the boat off at Waivels and he is calling in re-enforcements. They are going to do some tests to find the problem. If you see he is a little thinner in the old hair department that would be from my boat.
