Got up and checked the weather - wind and blue skies after lunch. Headed off with Lil Chalk and the HPX in search of the elusive and wiley redfish.
First spot - poled forever and didn't see or catch a thing - but I have never caught anything in this spot, just wanted to see if it had changed - it had not.
Off to second spot that has provided some tight lines in the past - the spot didn't disappoint us. Fished two spots - caught three reds with one over - saw many more. Had a blast - can't wait til next time. Wind was never really bad - almost got slick once. Now the sun and wind direction sucked - but we managed. Fish came on pieces of flat metal tied to braid
