Hickory Mounds 11-28-09

Post by jsuber »

Many folks ask me why I like to fish Hickory Mounds so much. I'll let the pictures speak for me, but as you can see its just a beautiful piece of America. And its time to head back out there for the fantastic Winter Fishing. Its like this from St Marks to Horsehoe Beach, just fish the incoming tide in a foot of water with top water plugs like the Super Spook.

Suber, the only folks I can imagine asking why you like to fish Hickory Mounds would be the folks who haven't fished it much!

Great place to fish the skinny stuff. Its like that from St Marks to Keaton Beach, but its really easy for yakkers to launch and fish at the Hickory Mounds Reserve.
