Thanksgiving Weekend 2009

My buddy Seth and I went offshore this weekend with our commercial stone crabbing buddy, Ben.
I had my two Gags at the first place we stopped in about 25 feet. We had slow but consistent action the rest of the day and ended up with our three man limit of gags along with one red grouper thanks to Seth.
We stopped at several spots from 25 to 45 feet of water. We used cigar minnows and live pinfish. Most, if not all of the keepers were caught on the pinfish. We trolled in between spots with no luck.
No monsters, but we took home a cooler full of grouper, blackfish and pink mouth grunts.
Not bad for a 6 hour trip.
