Yakker catches 10 lb trout in Tejas

Check out this nice Trout caught in Tejas yesterday working plastic slow on the bottom. Temp was just over 33 deg F.

Nice sow. From the faded color on the scale pix (and the dock boards background), it doesn't appear the fish was released, which is too bad. That's a lot of potential little trout wasted if that's the case.
I realize that's the fish of a lifetime for many, but with today's excellent replica mounts a fish like that doesn't have to be sacrificed. Accurate weight, length and girth measurements are all that's necessary. Unless you like fat worms, of course.
