Some of you guys have been using the new Curado 200E7 for about a year.
What are the pros and cons of the reel?

It is a sweet reel. I like it because it's light and being low-profile, fits well in one's hand. It's smooth casting and the drag works well too. The only con I've found is that it doesn't hold enough line; with a spook on and the brakes off, I routinely throw all of the line off the reel. The plug looks like a dog that ran out of chain when it jumps back while it's still 15' in the air and tracking like a missile...I'd recommend buying one for sure.

I have two that I've been using over a year...I dont fish the flats as much as some of you but these have held up as well as any reel I ever had. Line capacity not a concern with me as usually I'm throwing spoons with them. Previously I used mostly Chronarch's and still have several. Curado is just as as smooth and tough. I like the high speed of the Curado and the price ain't bad either......

Been pleased with mine. Only backlash if I hit myself or my partner in the head...course that's when I got to fish.

You need one for that new rod you'll have after the first of the year.
