Late Christmas Report

I was sitting around with my brother Heath after lunch on Christmas Day. He had just gotten a new trolling motor that he had yet to try out, so we decided there was no reason to sit around the house any longer. We headed down to Keaton despite the bitter wind. My first fish was a 26 inch trout. :-D My next fish was a 21 inch trout. :D Then I picked up a little 17 incher. :) Heath picked up another 17 incher, then a nice 24 incher. Not being able to catch fish small enough to keep is a fun problem to have. We took plenty of pictures with his camera, but I haven't gotten copies yet. I attached one I took back at the house with my phone.

The day after Christmas, I took my girlfriend's dad in my boat hoping for some more big trout. We didn't catch any of any size, but we managed to come in just one short of our limit. I also picked up a 22 inch redfish. I took a quick pic of our take with my phone before I started cleaning.

The next day I headed offshore with my crabbing buddy Ben. Grouper were hard to come by. I got skunked, Ben caught a few keepers. We filled the cooler with blackfish and grunts. No pictures of this trip, nothing worth taking a picture of.

Great Christmas vacation. Thanks Laurel for not getting mad at me for being gone all Christmas!
Sorry the report is kind of late, I've been busy!
