Left Tallahassee around 9 to go find some winter reds headed for the OR. We launched around 10 after filling up with skrimp and a litlle anti freeze for us. High hopes of finding the upper slot reds I have found in the past years we put the hammer down and then backed off because it was cold. :smt010 Being a -1.0 tide we found ourselves looking out for shallow water other then the reds we came for. After winding our way through the river and then a usually deep creek we puller up to a normally deep creek and started fishing. Water was moving good and all we could pull out of spot one was 2 19" reds. Twisted our way out of that creek to another and pulled up with the trolling motor knowing that we could possibly scare the fish because of the depth of the water. Slid the anchor over and noticed another fisherman just down the way and he was pulling fish over the gunnel one after another. What are we doing wrong??? After more investigation the fellow fresh water fisherman was catching bream, which I guess should be okay since the water from all the rain was as non salty as you could get. Left spot two and headed for spot three. We pulled up to spot three and started fishing when my father in law got board and said " well, I have never fired a handgun would you mind?" I thought to myself, he has had enough anti freeze so should be able to feel the pistol and not drop it over board when he fires it so why not???? Found a wonderful stump target about thirty yards away for a snub nose 38 "yea right" still not sure if he hit it or not. He at first wanted to fire a couple shots , but after the first he really could not handle the noise. HA HA I told him it was loud!!! Okay, now we are back on the move to find fish. We left spot three headed to spot one. Pulled up to spot one and and casted out only to miss the first bite. Casted out again and fish on! We stayed there for the next hour and caught 18 reds and one sheepshead. Ended up being a fun day on the water; I was able to put people on fish that normally do not get the chance. As they said "action is action." 20 reds 1 sheepshead. I cannot wait for this fresh water to be gone. Have fun and Happy New Year! Sorry no pics. You really would not be impressed. Flint Pirate thanks, loving the boat!

I was hoping you were ready to sell it back to me. I REALLY wish I hadn't sold it! Glad you are enjoying it, couldn't have gone to a better guy.
