I am starting to plan what is the first of a couple of trips this year. I have caught a few cobia about every time I am down but am not for sure the time they will be running thru the Cedar Key area. Just a little help . I enjoy getting a bite on any type of fish but i think a few more cobia this time would be a hoot. Good fishin to you all!!!!

Last year the weather was funky. I agree with HW, but water temp will be the trick

April is the month to start predictably seeing them in #s, but agree May is a better bet than April. Fellow board member Sharkman and myself target them for tagging and to tell the truth we don't have much problem finding them as long as the water is warm enough and some of our best trips out have been in August and September.
Good luck!
