Spending an evening with a guy from California (say it like Arnold), in a boat  ......Sounds interesting when's the full moon?

I believe the full moon is on the ninth. Tom has a link to a handy table with the moon phases right down at the bottom of the page. :D

I want to try that sometime. Sadly, this is not going to be the time.

OK the wifey says don't go without the son, so it would be easier to go Saturday night if anyone is interested...

Where are you talking about going out of? I might be interested if I get the steering cable back in my boat this week.

Probably would have to be St Marks. Don't know where else you could put in to fish at night.

Sounds good. Launch at Old Fort at dusk, fish till the band starts at posys at 9:00pm, park the boat at the posy's dock, maybe try out some of them bushes later that LC was refering to.

I think I may be up for this trip but only if we go out of the Lighthouse. It is much easier getting in and out of there than running all the way to the fort. Plus there will be very little big motor running with good fishing very close. Plus I'm off Monday and Tuesday so whoever wants to go can then. I think Sat and sunday may be too windy.

Tom,

How do you get in/out of the Lighthouse after hours. And unless the forecast changes its windy for Staurday.. :x However this forecast may be a little premature, since the storms are suppose to be gone by Friday.

Saturday
Northeast wind 20 knots. Seas 2 to 4 feet near shore...building to 4 to 6 feet well offshore. Protected waters choppy. Isolated showers.

Don, as long as you are in the gate before Sunset, the gate will open automatically when you want to leave. It has a sensor on it. The next front is suppossed to go on through on Friday and I would not want to fish on the day after a front passes if I didn't have to.

I realize you got overulled at your house for Monday, but other folks might still want to do it Monday. That's when I would want to do it.
