NOAA is predicting 1-2 foot seas tomorrow. Looked at the tides and it is a negative .20 at 10am. This is too low for me to launch out of Mashes Sands unless it has been dredged lately. What other landings are close by that can handle a 19"CC with that low of a tide. I am not looking to go out of Carrabelle. I can always put in at the fort off the St. Marks River but that would add multiple miles that I was hoping to avoid. Any help would be appreciated.

Konrad. I have a 19 foot Pathfinder and do not launch out of Mashes at negative tide. Get out of bed early and launch around 8AM if possible. I have gone down to the new Rock landing launch by Hook Wrecks to find it was not deep enough either. I do not remember how low the tide was at that time. I had to go on to St. Marks though. At Rock landing, there is a sign that indicates the edge of the ramp. Do take the sign seriously. It drops bad.

If you launch at Mashes at low make sure you put your boat in on the left hand side as you face the ramp. Rubble has been placed there.

No Mechanic, I meant to say that ruble has been placed at the edge of the drop off so you can get your trailer out of the water with the axels attached...sorry. The right hand side is quite a ledge.

I went out of Hook Wreck Henry's last year and messed up my prop on the rocks. Don't think I am going to try that again. I guess I just have to wake up early and hope the fish still bit through the slack tide.

I launched at Mashes today around 9:30, it was LOW, I had to get in the water and lift/push to get the boat off the trailer there was plenty to float the boat at the dock, but don't know about at the mouth, I crossed it at WOT and didn't touch, so I know it had at least 6 inches of water I trolled the rotory reef for 4 hours and never got a strike the water temp was 49 when I got there and 49 when I left at 2:30 did mark a good bit of fish out there that a bottom fisher may could catch though

PS: In case ya don't know, the redneck is a 17.5 aluminum bass boat

I went a few weeks ago and the tide was really, really low. I had to push the boat off, but there was enough water to squeak out of the mouth.

I put in at the new boat ramp at Harry A's last month during a low tide and had a heck of a go with it. Like another poster indicated, it drops off terribly, which totally sucked for my trailer. I'm gonna try it as well tomorrow. I'll probably put in at the Fort though. I hate to see Wevans report about trolling Rotary, that was going to be one of my spots to hit. Oh well, hopefully, it will beat work. Konrad, If you see a fella flying solo in a 21 Sea Pro CC tomorrow, don't hesitate to give me a holler.

We trolled today outta St Marks, after the wind and seas calmed around 11am. We tried from 18-30 feet and found some nice new structure holding fish, but no bites.. it was cold and windy! After 3 hours of nothing we came in.

Good Night, has anybody had any luck trolling this year? I've caught a couple of shorts out of St. Marks, but that's about it. I haven't heard of anyone getting a cooler full of keepers, have ya'll?

You'd be able to get out at Keaton.

You could always check Bottoms Rd., or right off of 98 just over the bridge, or Alligator Point. Tide seemed lower than predicted yesterday.
