Going to try to take advantage of the weather today out of Rock Landing. Probably 30-70' trolling and on the bottom. Will post results.

Launched at Rock Landing about 9 yesterday AM. Tide was not all the way out but there was plenty of water at the ramp and in the well marked channel going out. Water was smooth, wind was down and the air temp was refressing but cold at 40 MPH. Started at Rotary and kept a steady pace of stop and drop. Fished hard in lots of places and could only find grunts, shorts and of course the endangered and ever present red catfish. Covered more than sixty miles of smooth water without having to waste any time cleaning fish. It was good to get the GT out of the yard after a two month rest and see everthing without the burden of cataracs. And, it was a wonderful day with two guys I've known for forty years.
Weather permitting we will try shallow water from St. Marks next week before the 60 day grouper vacation.

Question: If you don't put fish in the cooler do you still owe JT rent on his spots?
