This is a un-official poll of anyone interested in fishing most or all of the JBT TeamSeatrout tournaments for 2010.
QUESTION:
Would you rather fish them on Saturday or Sunday?

I liked/prefer Sundays but could never find a consistent partner to fish with, although I may have the same problem w/ Saturdays.

Steve -
I am not sure why you are asking this question, but here is an interesting side note for you:
Back in 2000, before starting the NFGFC, Capt. Chuck Simpson and I went down to Jerry's Bait and Tackle and tried to persuade Scott to change the Team Seatrout schedule to Saturday tournaments. Both Chuck and I were heavily involved in our churches and could not fish Sunday tournaments.
Scott refused for various reasons, so the NFGFC was born with the help of Tom Keels, and we all began fishing Saturdays.

I am asking because several people have mentioned it to me preferring Saturdays.
Their main reason is not having to go to work the day after a tournament.(Guess they are getting too old).
In the beginning Scott attended FSU football games and several FSU players fished the tournaments. Games of course are on Saturday. His belief also was others may prefer to watch college football rather than tournament fish. Also at the time Sunday was his slower business day and he had time to deal with it.
The first 5 years of Seatrout saw 50 plus boats per tournament, whether that was because of Sunday vs Saturday I do not know.
I am doing this because people more shy than me have asked the question to be presented.
Jerrys staff are open to either day.
