fishing 2/6 and 2/7

Since the tourney was cancelled Matt and I put the duck boat in a local lake Saturday afternoon. The wind was howling and we were glad not be on the coast. Tough to stay within casting range of our structure, but I managed 2 bass up to 4# on a Seinko in the 3 hours we fished. I lost the big one that hit almost under the boat and tried to take me to the other side.
Sunday I took a couple friends who rarely get out the water for a ride in the River. I figured it would give me a chance to look for some River reds as well. After a stop at Savanah's and a quick chat with Huck and Kathy on our way out we launched from the Fort. None of my old River haunts were holding reds, but I did manage 4 lady fish.
